over
There are invisible lines everywhere. no matter how much we deny it. there's a line as to how much we can talk to our friends, there is a line on how much we can study in 1 day, there are limits
life is easy when we are near the lines but problems increase as soon the lines start to appear to be a dash or even a dot. right, enough metaphors. I offer you handmade chocolate from a chocolate box. you take none, I feel a little offended because i give you my piece of art and you reject it! I offer you chocolate and instead of 1, you take 2, rude! but I offer you chocolate and you give me your palm, so I automatically give whatever no. of chocolates I want to give and nobody is offended. taking chocolate isn't the line but the way you accept it is. you take 2 you are over the line and if you take more than 2, as joey says "the line is a dot to you."
that was pretty much basic, but what about boundaries that matter? how much should you disclose to a friend? how much can you share with a peer? it will be a problem if you say too much or if you don't, a different kind of problem will arise. we all overthink, like most of the time we are without a phone we are constantly thinking, and overthinking is obviously not good. when we overthink, we overanalyze, we read too much into it, or possibly use words like "assuming" or "if" we reach to weird conclusions. we become so self-involved and so absorbed in our theories we forget that there is a second pov. we rush into stuff, then regret it and again overanalyze stuff like an endless cycle that benefits literally noone.
lines are everywhere- commenting, sharing, excusing, accepting, believing and disagreements start when our lines, our wavelengths don't match. we think someone is overdoing it when the other thinks he is doing just fine, again assumptions. We are so much in deep thought about ourselves we don't approach others, we don't communicate. in this age of social media where everyone is within finger reach, depression stress has increased. In the last century people used to send letters to faraway places, with no proper means of communication, no proper therapies and they were less depressed. we have so much but we are apprehensive of losing it. why?
Find the lines. They are very clear, the thing is we are oblivious to them. we cannot control the lines, but we can stand by them. let everyone be.no need for disasters and disputes if everybody is as everybody is. there is a common line for all of us. don't interfere if it's not your business.
we all use "none of your business" while trying to be sassy, how about we follow our advice instead? :)
Okay what seriously
