Distance

Distance, every time you mentally picture it you have to imagine another thing too: space. You know, to look at the bigger picture you gotta step back.

There are so many things going on everywhere. To put it in a mature way: our life is a case which can never close. We have problems and we know we have solutions, the thing is we forget to believe, to hope that they are not too hard to find. In theory, if we move our eye too close to anything our vision becomes blurry and unclear. Distance is needed. It's the same thing with our problems, we get too close with our problems, we forget to take a step back to find the solution right inside the box. We understand things better with actual experiences. Try to associate this theory with an experience of your own life. Have you ever been all panicky for something but when you actually penned it down it didn't seem so hazy? To some extent the distance between your brain and the book is needed, the space is necessary. You are too involved in the problem so you cant act rationally.

Well not according to science, but even the difference between now and then is distance. The distance of time( bad terminology but I presume you understand the concept) is equally important. Well, basically the difference in time is crucial. Time is the best teacher as they say. All we have to do is wait for it.

Sometimes there aren't any proper solutions. I mean life is not exactly 1+1=2. Sometimes the best you can get is closure. To give you the simplest example, If you can't cook a dish after you tried 10 times, you don't fuss all over it, you logically think, if you can't cook a single dish is your life going to turn upside down? There and there itself you got closure. Now this problem was a small one, getting closure was easy, sometimes life is different and hard and it gets messy, but you can always take a step back, give some space and look at the bigger picture. Don't run away, just distance yourself from your problems. To illustrate, I try to write 1 blog a month, but I couldn't write anything good in September, So I took a break. Gave myself some space and didn't write anything. In October and I had 2 blogs ready to go :) It's a slingshot sort of thing I guess, the greater the setback the greater the breakthrough? Get some space, get a break, take a detour, you deserve it :)
