Influencers

         The word 'influencer' is time and again paired with social media, but I'm sure you know about that already, so I'm not gonna put the term "social media influencer" into words. I am gonna throw some light on the other types of influencers. The ones not on online platforms but in our daily lives. There are so many people who unknowingly influence us or rather people we get influenced by.

      A word that a friend uses or a particular way your mum holds a thing, you can get influenced by literally anything. But such petty things don't affect our lives intensely. But substantial things such as lifestyles, behavior, emotional quotients, opinions, etc do. When we were little if everyone had the same type of fancy band, we wanted it too. But as we grew up those bands slowly turned into gadgets or the latest versions of things. We got influenced then and now, the only difference is the demand. Whether there really was a necessity was a question that was secondary. They have it, I want it. But now we do know how to prioritize things yet we always prioritize things the most imprecise way possible[ including me haha :,) ]

The above ones happen to be the polite ones. But there are many elders who influence you too, like they unknowingly rather innocently with good intentions teach you what their elders taught them. The only thing they forget is the generation gap. Every generation has a set of unsaid fundamental rules with no logic at all. To illustrate, to the peeps of my generation, We have 1000 useless screenshots we do not delete, no logic, just an unsaid "shastra". For the older generation talking about relationships may be taboo, again, no logic, an unsaid " shastra". So back to the point, every generation progresses more than the previous one and so the unsaid rules. We cant follow everything mankind followed 50 years ago, otherwise, mankind will cease to advance. So the next time any elder tells you something think twice whether or not to get influenced cuz- sagle kartayt, apan pan karu! yala farsa tathya nahi. 

To conclude, you decide your influencers, everybody is living the way they see fit, whether to get influenced by it or ignore it is literally in your hands.
